Kitchen Shenanigan™ was born out of a simple truth: food is more than nourishment.
Food is connection, celebration, and memory.
Founded in 2022 as a Black-owned, women-led personal chef and catering company in Chicago, Kitchen Shenanigan quickly became known for transforming gatherings into extraordinary experiences. With roots in gourmet vegetarian cuisine, our menus draw inspiration from Mediterranean freshness and Southern elegance, blending flavor with artistry.
Our team is more than chefs and servers . we are curators of moments. Every dish is crafted with intention, every event planned with precision, and every guest welcomed with warmth. From intimate dinners to grand weddings and corporate galas, we bring not only flavor, but a sense of occasion.
At the heart of it all is our mission: to elevate dining in Chicago and beyond through exceptional food, impeccable service, and the belief that hospitality is an act of love.

Founder's note
A Note from Our Founder
From a young age, I discovered that food was more than nourishment. it was storytelling, connection, and love. I catered my first event at just 14 years old, and that spark has since grown into a lifelong passion and profession.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as both a chef and entrepreneur, refining my craft through personal chef experiences, community-centered catering, and collaborations with celebrated culinary mentors. Along the way, I’ve been honored with recognition such as the CHA Business Grant and the Future Founders Pitch Competition, affirming my vision to blend artistry with entrepreneurship.
Beyond the kitchen, I am proud to be an active member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Both reflect my commitment to leadership, innovation, and the advancement of woman-owned businesses on both local and national stages.
Kitchen Shenanigan™ is the culmination of that journey. a luxury catering and personal chef service built on elegance, authenticity, and heart. It is my greatest joy to bring people together through food, curating experiences that linger in memory long after the last glass is raised.
